I have heared of a site where "trades can be traded" eg hairdressing for beauty therapy, plumbing for electrics, etc etc.:rolleyes:

Has anybody else heared of it or have I imagined it?

Hello, I did belong to a babysitting circle many years ago, a lady in the neighbourhood asked all around to join and gave out pasta to use as payment. The day I choose to use the service I turned up at the said members door and she was out! so never bothered again.

I have not heard of any other scheeme. I do sometimes trade jobs with family or a neighbour.

We are lucky in this area there are a lot of people who know people and so on and it is usually free barter apart from any parts that you need.
It just takes a few to get together and pass the word around

What rotters, I did the babysitting circut as a teenager and it used to drive me mad when I was "booked" then they changed there mind.
