Claiming bank charges bank help pls

I have decided to follow suit and claim back my bank charges...i have a letter asking my bank to tell me all my bank charges they have put onto my account over the last 6 yrs....and put £10 cheque in it....so...
Where do i send it to??
My local branch or the main head office?
