Can anyone tell me if you sign up for this and move house before 12 months does it still stand?

Daughter moved into a house in June and the suppliers were already scottish power, she set up a direct debit for both and they took 3 payments out, 2 for gas 1 for electric and then the direct debits stopped. She phoned them up and they said her accounts have been taken over erroneously, shes tried to get scottish power to get them back again but they said they have been over for over 28 days so they might not be able to. Apparently the elec has been taken over by scottish southern and they arent sure which the elec is with but I thought is it worth them trying could she just pay the erroneous companies off and move to scottish power and get ths cashback?

    2 issues might be,

she only moved in the house in june, the erroneous company took over july or aug so she will have been with them for a short time will she be able to move and get the cashback

she may not be staying a year in fact she may have to move out mid december can she still get the cashback
    Thanx

    Hiya

pls see my story above - i said i'd moved out and when my sis 'moved in' she signed up for another supplier straight away. They cannot make you take your tarriff to a new house and cannot make someone moving in to a property keep the previous owner's tariff either.

    Topcashback is now £110
  • Topcashback is now £110

People better off doing it via TCB if they not bothered about a Cashback Guarantee as TCB pay up to 10% xtra depending on prev months transactions.

Daughters going to go through this how long is it showing to clear once its tracked?

She can go through quidco or topcashback and she wont get the extra 10% so although I prefer topcashback its the guarantee from quidco I'm thinking about I don't want her missing out on it
    Thanx

If you want a guarantee I think you should go through fatcheese rather than quidco.

Even if you aren't on any top-up this month by taking this through TopCashBack you'd be inline for at least 107 % next month. Have always found TCB to be very fair and deal with problems well...but can understand the appeal of the guarantee.

Whys that are they much better than quidco for problems? I didnt know they do guarantees, shes not actually a member with fatcheese just quidco and topcashback shes not a daily user she just uses them for purchases so if she went with fatcheese she would have to pay the £5 that she has already paid quidco

BTW I recently joined fatcheese and it says on my account admin fee 2009 does that mean I will get another admin charge the beginning of 2010? I know quidco does it from anniversary date
    Thanx
