DVD recorder, £105 in calais

looks like a +RW writer, with firewire IEE1394 in for your camcorder.

wouldn't necessarily like to rely on their after-sales service or returns though..................

If it is a French Spec Tuner in this DVD Recorder it won't work her the French have a different system from the UK (SECAM rather than PAL).

good point, but i was kinda relying on the bit where it says " tuner analogique PAL/SECAM". and i presume it's going to write VOB's like any DVD writer. But either way, they are getting to cluster round a hundred quid here too now.....

pretty sure France is in Europe so uses PAL. SECAM is for the far east i think
