Problem with CCCS website?

Hi
Hope this is in the right section.
Im trying to fill out the Debt Recovery Remedy but on my priority expenditure I can't get past the TV Licence section? I keep getting asked to 'enter valid amount'
Is or has anyone else experienced the same problem?
Thanks in advance

Not heard anyone say anything about it.....what ammount are you trying to input?

you could always try ringing them or sending a PM to one of the advisors here

I tried putting the correct amount in £28.50 which it wouldn't accept and then rounded it up to £29 and still no joy.
I'll try again later and hope it's just a glich on their site.

The correct amount is £12. You obviously have a new license and are paying the up front bit at the moment unfotunatly that doesn't count, you have to put the £12 in (it's the same when doint a BR SoA.)

New license is only around £140 quid upfront.....that still would be nowhere near £28 a month

I had this when we went to DD a couple of years ago. It is the way they work it out. Can't remember what the reasoning was but that is what it was.

    It is actually £23

    Monthly Direct Debit

Over the first six months, you'll pay for your current TV Licence in monthly instalments of around £23. In the seventh month, you'll then start to pay in advance towards your next licence with twelve monthly instalments of less than £12 a month (so you'll make six payments before your new licence is due and six payments after). You'll continue paying for future licences in this way.

Please note that monthly Direct Debit is not available for black and white TV Licences.

Correct Tigerfeet. I've just bought a new one and they want Monthly payments of £28.50 and then I would get 'free' months to Sept 2010.
But even by inputting £12 per week, it still won't let me continue.
Me thinks a phone call is needed to CCCS

I got around the above problem. I had to input a annual amount, seems it was the only way past it.
