Hi all,
Got some great advice in another section here re bank charges so going to give this a whirl to see if any of you informed peeps can chuck any good ideas my way.
When I split with the other half bout 3 years ago he left me with loads of unsecured debt in my name. After struggling for 18 months I consolidated it all in a re-mortgage on a rate of 9.5%. This rate was apparently the only one availbable as I had a CCJ to thank my ex for.
I have no other credit at all and am now looking to remo again in bout 6 months and TRY to get a better rate.
Issues are 1 CCJ, income of £15k a year + some working family tax credit £300 all in a month.
Poor credit rating
Need to find a lender if pos that will lend me £180k vs a house price of £250k
I know this is a hard ask but any ideas of a lender that may give me a look in would be great.
Thanks for any time and advise.

You're needing nearly 10x your income which isn't going to happen I'm afraid - no lender will do that. I'm surprised your current lender approved it - I hope the income wasn't exaggerated?0

Just the interest would take all you salary. On the face of it you cannot afford it.0 -
I'm curious to know how the OP is even making mortgage payments at the moment - surely there must be some other source of income not mentioned as even on interest only the mortgage payment alone would deplete all the income.0
-
Very confused. The interest alone at that rate on 180k is over £17000. We cant be getting all of the details here.0

Doesn't appear the OP is bothered about replying.0
