Title doesn't quite make sense right?
Cut a long story short, about a year ago got into a little pickle with an unsecured loan, resulting in two months arrears. After a long (many months) battle with them to come to an arrangement to pay it off that I could stick to, they agreed to remove £110 worth of charges and allow me to pay back the arrears over five months. I have the arrangement in writing via a fax from them which also states that I will receive no more arrears letters.
Yesterday, what did I get in the mail? Yes, you guessed it, an arrears letter and a statement of account that shows they haven't removed any of the charges. This agreement was made a couple of months ago now so they've had more than enough time to adjust their system.
What's the best way to get them to stop doing this and to actually do what they said they were going to do? I will likely write them a letter today (I refuse to deal with them by phone) but I wondered if there was a template letter somewhere on the forum and perhaps even if someone knew the actual harassment act as surely this consitutes harrassment?
I won't name the loan company yet unless someone deems it to be necessary.
Thanks guys.

Any ideas on this guys? I've spoken to them on the phone today to make a payment and reminded them of the faxed agreement and enquired why they had not done what they said they would do. I was told that the arrears letters are sent out automatically and there is nothing they can do to have them stopped and I should not have been told that they could stop them. This goes against the agreement I made with them and have in writing. They consider me to still be in arrears even though the agreement was that the arrears would be 'removed' if the extended payments were made, which they have been and they STILL haven't removed any charges either.
I just don't know what to do next.0
