New Job... yet still worried

Got the call today!!!
After a fair few months of unemployment some fool has decided to give me a job
Well I actually had to choose as I got offered 2, I went for the lesser paid more secure option.
It's funny coz i've been trying to get a job for so long, it's probably been all i've been focusing on. And now I have one i'm starting to panic!
I need to move into my own place, what if i can't support myself? what if i can't afford to live? what if i sign a 6mth contract and lose this job in a few months? what if i've made the wrong choice and i'm not happy?
the worries are ridic i'm not an insecure person but i'm starting to panic about every aspect of my life!!! I honestly think it is because life is becoming "real" again for the first time since my BR. And the thought of getting myself into the situation i was in pre BR scares the begeebers out of me.
anyhoo, how can I figure out what my take home pay will be? and i'm guessing if I fill out my SOA backwards i can work out how much rent I can easily afford lol
slight rant... sorry, just having a moment

Cheers,
according to that my take home pay in a month with no commission (again can't rely on that to pay the bills like before) is £1005.
Just need to fill out the SOA... I'll post it here when i'm done, just incase i miss anything.
Oh and how does it work with commision and the OR? I can't notify him of something i'm not guaranteed.0 -
usually if the job is new they may wait 3 months to see what your average take home is before asking for an IPA. Obviously you just need to put down what you know at the moment which is just your basicHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Ok so i'm using this more to work out what i can afford to rent, i've been looking at renting rooms inclusive of bills, and i figure i can go upto £450pcm. Just thought i'd check incase i've missed something major.
I realise some of these expenses will have to come out my surplus when i submit my new SOA to the OR, but this is purely to see where i can afford to live.0 -
