Why would someone go to a licenced insovency practitioner? I'm curious. Would they require payment even though initial consultation is free, what I mean is would they be required to have further consultaions which would require payment? I'm just trying to find out that's all, it's a new one on me

Is an insovency practitioner 'like' a company who 'may' charge someone for 'helping' them go bankrupt?0

I used an IP and it was all free, we were looking to go the IVA route, but after talking to my IP and giving her my I & E she said it would be best for us to go BR. All the advice was free, and she even told me not to pay for help as the forms had been designed for anybody to be able to complete.:pB&SC No. 298
