Got an A5 sized card printed with 'X is the Stig' for £4.00 ...obviously personalised with my friends name! Is the style of a magazine cover.
They have the posters available too however in true moneysaving style and the fact that I don't want to be spending excessive amounts on this hamper, I found I could get the A5 card for a fraction of the cost. I'm going to frame it, in a frame from the £1 shop, and I'm really pleased with it.
Got it from http://www.treatme.net/experiences/top-gear-card-personalised. Was a bit worried when I ordered as I didn't get any order confirmation, only confirmation of payment from the bank process thing. However, I ordered it on Tuesday and it arrived Friday so that's excellent service! They can be forgiven for not sending confirmation.
Would highly recommend. The card is excellent quality, the same thickness as a standard card you buy in the shop.0 -

another suggestion! my son and husband both like TG & stig, so I got this for my husband. I also saw the stiggy bank a while ago, but son was with me so didn't get it, now can't find em! doh! am going up to b&m shortly so will check out things there. got son the stig alarm clock from play last night, cheapest i've seen at £18. M&S have a cool stig "new car" counting money box. seen that today at £15, but son with me again! every penny you put in, it counts it and keeps a total! great fun!:xmastree:0 -

Found this 3-piece Chef's set in Poundland today:
Only bought it for the tea towel which I will use to line my hamper container for all my Top Gear goodies. The tea towel measures 24 x 16.5 inches when laid flat.
Has saved me a few quid as was looking for a checkered flag/material and could only find them for about £3/4 on ebay!!!

Just thought I would update with a photo of the final hamper. To some it may not seem to contain much and in fairness I could have got more stuff, but I did have a budget so couldn't go wild but I am impressed with it all the same.
The wrapped hamper:
Contains:
• Where's Stig Book - £3.99
• Stiggy Bank - £4.99
• Stig on a Rope (soap) - £1.99
• Cool Wall Book - 49p
• X is the Stig Photo (+frame £1) - £4.00
• Checkered Tea Towel - £1.00
Here is the framed 'greetings card' which was cheaper than getting the poster for £10 and looks better anyway (name blurred for personal/security reasons!):0
