i want your carling beer codes!!!

I didn't know where to post this, so i posted here until moved.

So lately i did the easymobile SIM/referral scheme and i have a sim with £30 credit on it. I have a sim loaded with airtime with no real reason to use it.

Yesterday, my friend had some Carling beer cans with a code that you text for a world cup score, winning you between £5 to £50 if the score they send you happens.

i came across an idea. maybe if the people who got these carling codes pm'd me, i will use them on this sim in the hope that some of the scores happen, and any money raised would go to my local hospital (my father is in, having had a stroke and from intensive care through to therapy, they have been inspiring).

I know there's no real incentive to MSE'ers out there, but if you are going to put the can in the recycle bin and not use the code, pm it on and make a post saying "PM sent" or something akin to that and i will thank you for it.

please, no duff codes and i will post up if I manage to raise some funds.

Judging by the rest of your posts, you've nothing constructive to say about anything except when you're trying to acquire fish tanks, and even then you don't bother thanking the poster who helps you out.

    A few facts for you.

    A. It costs money (25P) to send the texts off - Most people won't want to be bothered texting in, and I was simply asking for the codes for any that might throw the can in for recycle.

    B. I think when you sit down and think about it, you'd see that its not this intricately woven great money making scheme and that I don't stand to make much money for the hospital, more a gesture.

    C. You state in your other posts, that you are a single father. Then you should be all too accustom to knowing that extra cash is hard to come by and for the most part, that is the reason why this board is so popular. I can't afford to make a great donation to the MCH trust, but this is a way that i thought I could be able to help with no real financial input from my pocket.

If it bears no fruits, then it bears no fruits...big deal, but don't put somebody down who is trying something alternative, at no expense to anybody else except a few minutes for a PM.

I'm with Jonnym on this one. It's like having a free bet on the world cup. It's a good bit of fun and gives you an interest in matches you wouldn't otherwise watch. I too am collecting the ringpulls.
I've started drinking the bottles from Tesco as you get 8 chances for £3.47, oh and beer as well!!

Any other spares will do me too
