Small informal OS gathering - Central London 28th May

We've been chatting a bit about this on the daily thread but I know not everybody reads it, so...

Just in case anybody fancies it, there's a (currently) v. small group of us planning to get together this Sunday evening in Central London for dinner/drinks. Location will be Penderel's Oak, the Wetherspoon pub on High Holborn (halfway between Holborn and Chancery Lane tubes on the south side of High Holborn) which is good for affordable grub, booze and a natter

We'll be kicking off about 7pm so if anybody is free in London at that time, please do come and join us. Current attendance list is just me, SnowyOwl and Shez, but the more the merrier! :beer:

Hey, sorry to all those who aren't around - this started off with me and SnowyOwl agreeing to go for a drink as she's over from Ireland for a few days, but it's GROWING Think both RacyRed and Ms_London are now interested in coming :j :j :j - I suggest anybody who owns a copy of the Money Diet should bring it as ID and first to get there should bag a table not too far from the door. PM me your mobile no's if you like, in the interests of co-ordination.

Are OH's allowed? Sometimes I need him to lean on!:o (and that's before any red wine gets consumed!) Thank goodness there won't be any roller coasters to worry about!

If I can convince him to take me there, he would love to have a drink with other folk that like nothing more than to chat about the merits of white vinegar and charity shops just like me!

Seriously it would be great to meet you all, getting quite excited now!

Catz, course you can bring your OH, and I think Shez said something about inviting a friend too(???) It's just a pub, it's not as if we need to book for a certain number. It's quite big and should be relatively quiet on a Sunday evening. BTW if Blackpool was anything to go by, the conversations about slow cookers and white vinegar will last about 5 minutes before giving way to a good gossip sesh
