I can't advise you onto whether to get another survey or not - but you would have to pay for it yourself and you won't get the money back for either survey even if the original is 'wrong' .
If you post up why the property has been valued at 'Zero' you may get advice on whether to bother paying for another Survey or not.
Both Surveyors will stand by their individual reports regardless of how different they are. I have experienced this first hand.
Also in the case of my sister she had over 80% equity to go into the proposed property so I think it was easier to get NatWest to change their mind in that respect.0 -
There is obviously some underlying reason why the value has come back as £0 (in this case, it means the lender will not lend on that property). Maybe you should try to find out the reason they won't lend on the property (non-standard construction? subsidence?).0
