And with us both working I am sooo knackered when it comes to the end of the day the last thing I feel like is cooking.
If you're both working why do you do all the cooking
We've started eating veggie several nights a week. Could you try that? How about your OH cooking meat-based dishes in bulk and freezing some for later?

I do most of the cooking although OH will take a turn if it is easy (an oven tray dinner) or a reheat (micro meal). He often has to do the previous evenings dishes while I make the tea. TBH I would rather he did them the same night but as long as he does them I really cant grumble.
Unfortunately OH will not eat meatless meals - so that is why I batch cook a lot of his meals from scratch. In fact I do more cooking from scratch cooking for him than I do for myself. He likes hot and spicy food with rice whereas I dont like spicy food or rice. I am not a huge fan of pasta (bloats me badly) whereas OH will eat it most nights.
When I started working full time in feb I used to spend all sunday cooking meals and making sandwiches and freezing them for the week but I begrudge losing a day off to the kitchen. OH does the clean up but even so I would rather be chilling than standing over pots and pans.0 -

Are you a morning person? Have you thought about a slow cooker? Prepare it all and chuck it in in the morning (switch on
). Come home to cooked meal and just add frozen veg or garlic bread or something easy.
You can do, soups, chilli, loads of casseroles, bolognaise, stuffed peppers. All sorts really.
Just I'm not a morning person so I have to chop it all the night before so there's less thinking in the morningworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
