Best place for a pre theatre meal in Glasgow West End?

I wonder whether anyone has recommendations for a decent and reasonably proced place to eat in Glasgow's West End. There would be 8 out us going out for a meal for my daughter's 18th - she's got a job in Byres Road which starts at 7.30 pm, so it'd need to be close to there

There's loads of places on Ashton Lane, not all of them are expensive. There's also Oran Mor at the top of Byres Road.

It depends on the night, a lot of places don't do pre-theatre on Fridays or Saturdays. As previous poster said, lots on Ashton Lane and a couple on Ruthven Lane across the road, depends on what you like to eat.
