Hi, posted this this morning #2988 as there's a problem with this weeks mag, [STRIKE]have since had a reply & was told they're aware of this problem & was advised to either leave the answer blank or fill in with whichever answer i prefer :rolleyes: so up to you whatever you want [/STRIKE]
They've now amended the online form so hopefully this time it should be correct :eek:

Hi, they've left that one off as well, there's no clue in the magazine for 23 across, 26 down states 4 letters but there's 5 in the grid, but i'll take the 7 across of the op as you say it's not on the online entry, only in the mag, they've made a bit of a !!!! up this week :eek:

Note that your 7 across is to be entered at the end of the across answers "9 Across (7 on grid)"

:eek: since they've had all the phone calls, they've been altering the online entry :rolleyes: best to hold off for a few mins till they make up their minds :eek:

Did you log in first? That happened to me and I realised I wasn't logged in. I went to the login page and was able to enter the answers.

just received this morning from Pick me Up

Thank you for your email and for spotting the mistakes on the £25 an answer puzzle.

As you’ll have noticed there are two clues which are named differently on the clue list to the puzzle. 7 across is wrongly called 9 across, and 33 down is wrongly called 35 down. In clue 26 down, the number of letters should be 6 letters, not 4. Also, there is a 32 across in the puzzle, and no clue for it. When entering the puzzle, please leave this blank on the grid.

For web entrants, the sub editing department has indicated the real and false names from the wrongly named clues, and left a box on there for 32 Across, but again, you don’t need to fill it out to win.

Please accept our apologies for the mistakes again – purely human error. I hope that you still manage to enjoy completing your ‘extra-hard’ crossword!
