I just wanted to say thank you.
Sometime ago I asked you about a discoloured front tooth and explained I felt a bit as if my own dentst was unaproachable.
You explained the options and consequences and urged me to go back to the dentist.
Today, well, last night, I had a dental emergency...my acid line on that tooth jsut crumbled away, like in those dreadful dreams where teeth crumble into your mouth
and thinking about how important you felt trust in your dentist was I changed dentists this morning.
My new dentist has done a temporary repair and even said I had lovely teeth,
and I'm going back in for new patient appointment and to discuss options for this silly tooth in about a week.
I'm so grateful for your time and patience when my...delaying..must seem qite irrational to a dentist, especially as its not a fear of dentistry just a confusion and fear of making the worng decsion for me. (and a fear of the term''make your tooth into a peg...honestly, no dentist should tell someone they are going to turn a tooth into a peg, its terrifying!) .
So, Thank you: I've finallybtaken your advice, and my new dentist saying I had lovely teeth has really made me feel very happy.:o:D

Just send me alcohol!!How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
Yep, I'm a member of the Toothsmith fan-club as well. If I lived in God's Own County I'd be sending him begging personal messages to become one of his lucky patients0

White wine is apparently worse than red!
But eating it with cheese combats the effect, or so the news I read yesterday said.;)
you'd better add some camebert to the port parcel!:rotfl:
I agree - Toothsmith, while his advice is not always taken first time around, knows the system and always tells things fairly.
