Cheapest Way To Send A DVD By Post?

Hi, I have 82 DVDs to sell on Ebay. They are selling at around 99p each.

I have worked out that it costs around 65p to send a DVD of in a jiffy bag by post. I also have to buy jiffy bags which will come to a total average of around 80p for Postage & Packaging.

20p per DVD profit made for my self. Not good..

Well, I was wondering if there was any cheaper ways to send a DVD off?

Does it really cost 65p to send a DVD in a jiffy bag?

Maybe I could wrap my DVDs in postal wrapping paper to save weight, how much would that cost?



Just some general advice would be much appreciated as I am sending allot of them of and will not gain much profit.

i have previously sent dvds wrapped in brown paper but cant remember for the life of me how much it was!

A standard DVD costs 76p to send 2nd class post. Add cost of envelope, plus FVFs of 10p and paypal fees of approx 25p and you are making a loss.

Charity shop them instead.
