there is nothing wrong with this meat if cooked properly, some people can not afford the expensive meats (myself included) and have brought the cheaper range for a long time. why reply here if you dont like the offer?

Oh, I am sorry, I thought was was an open forum, my mistake...

And I agree, there's nothing wrong with the meat, it's all the added water, preservatives, colourants and farmers going out of business I have a problem with...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Have you noticed with the 3 for £10 packs of meats in the supermarkets how, when you freeze them, layers of ice form inside the pack?

The condensation forms because a very high water content in the meat. This leads to a high water vapour content in the air trapped inside the pack. As the pack freezes the film packaging gets cold and the water vapour condenses into water and then turns to ice - exactly like warm air in a room will condense on a cold window and will eventually ice up a very cold window.

The amount of ice that forms in these cheap packs is far greater than that from similar, non-promotionally priced packs thereby showing that the apparent bargain price is achieved by selling you more and more water and less meat.

Sadly I've found that the quality of the meat in Asda has dropped significantly in the past couple of years. They used to sell good(ish) quality meat at good prices. Now I find myself making an extra trip to Sainsbury's to pay extra for their meat.

I really wish Asda would buck their ideas up on this front.

But your meant to drink 8 glasses of water a day so its all good. So this is quite healthy for you.

    Good find OP.
