Advice appreciated....Our current deal finishes very soon and we're currently looking at what to do with our mortagage. An advisor from Carrington Carr has looked at our situation. Concerned re their charges 1-2%. We're now waiting to see what is recommended! Anyone with direct recent experince of this company?
Should we go it alone as we've done in the past or use an alternative broker?
We are in a strong position no debt, some savings and a LTV of around 30%

Check what deals you current lender can offer you then look on the websites and papers at best buys.
Dont sign anything with Carrington Carr until you are totally happy with the deal they come up with.
consider a deal which would finish your mortgage IE 5/10 year fix with a term of 5/10 years IF the figures add up and you can afford it.0 -
With such a low LTV (and I'm assuming here credit+income is OK), you would have the pick of the lenders.
You could either shop around/compare yourself or get a fee-free broker to do it. Certainly not worth paying that much,0
