Money for Opinions

Hello,

This is my first time to the Chat Forum and I'm looking for some advice!
I'm a debt free wannabe and have come across the web site cash4homework.com. It's a site you have to register with and join up at a cost of about £60. In return they'll permit access, allowing you to register with various companies who will then send out online surveys, request opinions on films etc for which they will pay you a fee.
'Opinions for money' say you can earn £25.00 per hour.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of this type of thing? Am concerned it's a scam... (well, think I was the only person who tried to get petrol delivered to her door just because it was cheap! Thankfully it was a joke!)
Any information/advice will be gratefully received!

Hi and welcome to MSE.

I would avoid any of these site that demand a fee and make big promises about how much you will receive.

There are lots of paid survey sites out there that do pay money without any fees.

Here are just a few to start with.

Golden rule - if you have to buy into it, it's a scam. Why would anyone sell a money making idea on unless it was a proper, upfront franchise?

Try ciao.co.uk - no fee to join, you won't make a lot, but it seems honest to me. There are a few other sites too - have a look around the threads. But save your sixty quid.

I use yougov it pays out £50 ever 18 month or so.

If you are lucky I have been with for about 3 years and I am only up to about £20.

But I use plently of others sites that pay out every few months.

Don't use valued opinions as they get you to do the survey then come up with an excuse not to pay out.

Not really. It's more the odd extra tenner here and there for treats.

Just to say I would disagree with the opinion re Valued Opinions, have been a member for ages and it is one of my favourite sites. had 3 surveys through recently, 2 for 1.50 and one for 3.50. Never had a problem!
Like the other poster said it is just a hobby and a way to earn extra pocket money. Sometimes I get lucky with surveys for 15.00 or 25.00 but to be honest it's not that often. Most range from 10p to 2 or 3 pounds.

Well I've just had another valued opinions survey not pay out another 15 mins wasted.

Can't understand why that would happen Broken hearted. Wouldn't be happy bout that. Have you tried emailing them? What do you mean when you say they won't pay out? Do they not let you complete the survey? Have you chosen your choice of voucher etc?
