Would the OR take a interest if i started share dealing again or would it be best to wait until discharged

    Hi - got a quick question. Did you have any shares when you went BR and di the OR take them? I've got a few that unfortunately at the moment are only worth a few quid and the guy I saw at my meeting wasn't sure of they'd take them or not and he still hasn't got back to me ? Cheers
  • i had some penny shares worth just £9 cost more to sell them and the OR were going to take them but they went bankrupt before he did

    Yup - they wanted my £1 premium bond as well ! Apparently its their policy to take PBs no matter what the value !

    Only if you would promise not to make any money......a contridiction in terms, I would leave it until DC
    There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.
  • I had about £400 in shares, which the OR claimed. I also opened up a shares ISA, shortly after BR and began investing some of my surplus income. Never had any problems.
