My wedding May 2010

Me and my fiancee have decided to get married in May 2010 in cornwall. i don't want the boring formal, traditional wedding so we have decided on doing something a bit different.
We are getting married on Thurs May 6th 2010 at the registry office, then we are going to a hotel i used to work at for some pictures, pimms, cream teas and a small buffet for 25 people.
We are then holding a big fancy dress party on Saturday 8th May 2010 at the local band club for 150 people. I have booked a live band, comedian and hypnotist/mind reader. The catering i have booked a fish and chip van and hopefully a doughnut/candy van. Wedding cake i am still unsure about, i want something completely different. I am hoping to do all the wedding and a honeymoon for £3500. I know both our parents are giving us a £1000 each, so we will only have to find £1500 which is do able.

here is our costs so far:
Notice of Marriage £60
Marriage ceremony £43.50
Hotel drinks and buffet £200 estimate
Wedding dress £100 budget
Flowers £20
Wedding Ring for her £46.00
wedding ring for me £40.95
Band Club £50
Live Band £260 2 x1 hour sets
Comedian £200 1 x 1 hour sets
Hypnotist £425 2 x 45 minute sets
Fish and chip van £550 for 100 meals and £5 for every meal on top £700 budget
Doughnut van £150 budget
Wedding cake £120 budget
Honeymoon £600 budget
Photographer £200 budget, hoping to get a college student
decoration of party venue £100 budget
Fancy dress costumes £120 budget

Any help and ideas welcome, also have i missed anything?
cheers
Adam

I am thinking about individual carrot cakes for the wedding and sending each guest home with 1 each in an individual cupcake box? i could make the carrot cakes but i don't know if i want the hassle

I think the individual cake idea sounds great!

When I got married, the exOH and I had M&$ wedding cake - sounds like you could make your own, which we served up as pudding with a lot of fresh berries and cream, noone took any way with them as it was all eaten.
