Missing tax on P45 from DWP

in Cutting tax
I recently signed off JSA and have just received my P45 to give to my new employer. The problem is that it shows my gross income for the enitre year, but fails to mention the tax I paid in the part time job I had before signing on. It's not a lot (£80) but that's not the point. I thought they would put it on so my employer knows how much I paid.
My gross earnings were under my personal allowance (just over £3k including JSA), but I still had to pay that £80 tax out of them.
Can anyone tell me if I have missed some crucial detail before I complain? I have my P45 from previous employer (which was given to job centre), and all my payslips which show the tax paid.
Any help much appreciated.

Without knowing the details at section 6 and 7 of the P45 I cannot be certain but from the details you have given it looks like the tax you paid may have been due to be rebated to you. Have you checked the account that your job seekers payments went into to see if you have had a tax rebate?0

I think you may have had the tax back already - included in the JSA you received. If you are sure you have not, before complaining check that your P45 from your last employer is in the current tax year (ie it was not dated before 6/4/09)0
