Loan - Threats of door to door debt collector

Hi,

I have a stupid payday loan, to which I defaulted on last month, when I realised I couldn't make the payment I phoned them and sorted out payment for this Friday.

However, today I received an un-nessesary answerphone message on my home number (which is my parents not mine) which states if payment isn't met they'll send around the debt collectors. Now this doesn't really scare me as payment will be made, but has left a family member in distress. Are they allowed to disclose information like this on an answerphone? It's annoyed me to say the least.

I'd be thankful for any answers on this.

:)
