Washed at 60 instead of 40degrees

I foolishly asked my DH to put the washing on for me the other day so fully engaging his brain cell he put it on a 60 degree wash instead of 40. :wall:
I was a bit peeved to put it mildley - he hasn't done too much damaged except to my microfibre cloth (gone a funny colour) and the boys school trousers. I usually buy the M&S ones that need minimal ironing with the creases kept in, except the creases have now gone and other creases all over the place have come in.
I've tried ironing them while they're damp and they looked alright for a while but the've got damp with all this rain and now just look a mess again.
Any bright ideas?

My aunt did some of my mum's bedding when she came to stay - brand new sheets which she boil washed  The only way she could get the creases out was to cool wash them and iron them when wet.
But I think your OH should be made to do them (with you supervising and tellling him what to do of courseYou won't be able to iron them as you'll have your hands full with glass of wine/cup of tea etc - will you :rotfl: )

Like Ticklemouse said wash them again and I'd spin them and chuck them in the tumble on low heat, hope something works for you.Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)
