Costco Wholesale

Options
Many of you many not be aware that you can get an individual membership to costco. Much of this has been detailed in the following 174544 thread.
I just wanted to give an idea of the savings you can make on the following (dated 20/10/2009):
. Daz washing powder 90 washes £11.95
. Scotch Beef rumsteak £11 q kilo
. Toilet paper 12 * 4 rolls 260 sheets for £15
. Finish powerball classic 180 washes £14.25+ vat
. Dove soap 12*100g £4.79+vat
. One brie 600g round cheese £5.79
. One 8 pack of Pringle single socks 9.99 +vat.
. Tvs a trade prices.

On average my wife and I save about a 1/3 off supermarket prices. We save in particular on anything that is soap or toileteries, meat, dairy and orange juice.
All for a measily £28 a year or so.

Best Regards

Murata

Got to say I love Costco. Good savings and their meat and fish is superb - much better than supermarket meat. I also love the tastings they often have around the place. Thumbs up from me.

Does anyone know how I can view the current offers available at COSTCO, I've had a look at their website and there's no information about this.

A while ago (when I was the principal card holder) I used to get an e-mail with a link to their website with all the special offers, but since I'm an additional cald holder I no longer receive post or e-mail with the offers. Thanks

No, they don't put them online - there is a HUGE CostCo thread on here that very nice people tend to post the latest offers on, if not, just ask on there, especially if it's something specific and someone usually helps out.

We hardly ever get them in the post, and never had them online (been an individual member about 7 years ago, went trade 3 years ago) at all - lucky thing! (We feel unloved by CostCo lol).
Do not feed the trolls please.

I dont think Costco is much cheaper than supermarkets, but the QUALITY is amazing!

The chicken deal is especially good at the moment!
