money club - is it really worth it?

hi to all! i was contacted by phone last week by someone calling from 'the money club' who can , apparently, make you savings (after paying a members fee of course!)on almost any purchase i wish to make, yeah i know its ounds to good to be true! but is there anyone out there who can give me any advice, especially those who have dealt with this set up?

sounds like a scam - plain and simple.
I would avoid this like the plague if I were you.
If this was a legitimate business, it would be setup to make money by taking small commission from every purchase you made through them (like Rpoints and the other cashback sites).
It sounds like a similar scam to the Nigerian 419 emails.
best avoid it if you can0
