Hi was wondering if someone could help me out. I bought a Scooby Doo outfit for saturday and got it back and the legs were quoted at 33" but really 30-31" which is too short for my legs and need to add 4" or so to them.

Now phoned the people who i bought it from they said they went on the packet, so phoned the makers of it and as they are made in Hong Kong are unable to help me.
So any idea what i can do, and its too late now to change as told everyone i'm going as scooby and they all very excited about it.
So gonna need your help people!
Thanks:T

how much material is there in the hem?? That could give you another 1 or possibly 2". Failing that, then the only other alternative is (albeit shopping 4" off your legs;) )hunting around the house to see if you have any similar colour/texture material around the house. or try looking in charity shops at in the curtain/bedding 'department'.

P.S. Dont forget the scooby snacksI also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like youwould like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing

Maybe try to get offcuts from a fabric store/market? It looks like velour from the pic, so think outrageous monkey's advice for curtains and bedding sections is spot on.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0

How about attaching brown material to the bottom which bells out and run some elastic through the bottom and wear over shoes? If you add some stick on black claws at the front you have gained Scooby Feet at the bottom of the outfit.0

Could you not wear a pair of boots and tuck the bottoms into some brown socks or something??
Or go as Mrs Scooby and cut more off of the leg and wear a pair of high heels and add a huge flower to the costume?0 -
lol, thanks for the help guys will try a few places see what i can come up with. Tried my wellies and looked rather silly (and thats saying something).0

Leg warmers in brown, or get a pair of thick wooly socks (in brown) and cut the feet off and tuck the bottom of the trousers into them, im sure noone would ever notice and dogs legs do get skinnier at the bottom0
