Ok, this is still a bit sketchy, as I got phone call from DH, but he read in the Metro that on 2nd June,

will let you have a free credit report to check for agreements and repayments.

I did a quick Google browse and came up with this:

I registered on the 2/6/06 when it started the only problem is that it will take 11 months to be rolled out nationwide. It is starting in Cornwall/Devon and spreading out be TV regions over the next 11 months.

I've just registered my partner and myself, if it's true to form it means I can cancel my subscription to Equifax, which I got to say does provide a good service they've already help clear some bad information on my file.
