I have a poorly dog who is 10 years old.. I pay £8.50 a month insurance, im claiming off it now till it hits £500, they wont pay out after this,
what happeneds in BR to this.. can i still pay the 8.50 for my dog as he needs the drugs,Would cost me over £40 a month without insurance.
Poor boy took him out today and he just went down, wouldnt get up.. couldnt get up.. I was crying my eyes out. I dont think he will be with me long just wanted to know if anyone else has come accross this.
gosh im off again.. blumming tears!!
xx

They're not going to make your dog suffer, and I'm sure they'd prefer you to spend £8.50/month than £40!0

You may be asked to pay it out of your surplus but they're not going to point blank prevent you from having it if your surplus will cover it.
And if they don't let you, then I'm sure you could use your haircut or prescription fund (which they will let you have) to pay it anyway

I made it through!
Don't ignore a problem. Unlike a bad smell, it won't eventually go away.0 -
Allowance for pet insurance is included in the OR's calculations.....they usually allow around £20 a month (no need for it to come from any surplus)
Hmm wish I could find something cheaper.....we have a 10yr old cat & it's around £18 or so a monthWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
So sorry to hear about your dog i really understand how you feel. Please dont worry im sure your pet insurance wont be a problem.
We pay £22 pm for ours which we claim off regularly for our staffie/lab cross who is nearly 8. He has hip dysplasia so is on long term medication which costs a bomb!
This was accepted on our SOA no problem.
((((((hugs))))) to you

The post office pet insurance said they would accept my cat with me being BR, i either had to pay the year up front or they said they would accept a direct debit from my daughters account, sainsburys said the same, hope this helps.44lb off and 13 to go.:j0
