Policy Plus query

I'm in the process of getting rid of an endowment policy and, having got the surrender value, I've contacted a number of TEP companies to see if they can better it. All of them (with the exception of Policy Plus) have requested the same information to be filled in on an online form and then gone off to see what they can do. Policy Plus have written to me asking for me to send them the original documentation before they will attempt to trade it. I was just wondering why their approach differed from the other TEP companies and whether it is something to be wary of (paranoid I know - but then again I had money in Icesave).

Thanks in advance for any replies
