No cash spent today, nada, zip. Made my own lunch and helped myself to someone's birthday biscuits...

Admittedly I did stand by and watch as my husband spent £2.00 on a coffee for me...but then I made it back by selling a Michael Moore book on the newsgroups at work (Like I'll read THAT again!!)

that counts as a good day!

    Big fat 0!!!!!!!

Lovely tuna thing from cupboard plus salad & home made soup at lunch. Estimate 4 colleagues at work spent £20 between them on lunch, cans, snacks, beer etc. Same as every other day.

We are having a change to pension scheme at work, basically giving us all the choice of where to invest our own fund - I think it's great, they're all annoyed as 'it's a waste of time'    grrr, wish I coudl knock some sense into them all (they're all at least 10 yrs younger than me, 1 in serious debt), but can't put an old head on young shoulders. They'll probably all be on here in 10 yrs when they have seen the light (by which time I'll be retired in Spain:j :j :j :j ) (hopefully;) )
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

Well I didn't take lunch in today (very rare) - and ate in the restaurant at work (it's a training college) and had main course and pudding :p for £3.75 - it was a friends birthday and mine last week so we splashed out

(That £3.75 got me: mushroom stroganoff, ratatouille, cauli cheese and some potatoes (they always give you a bit of each of the veg) with apple and raspberry pie for pud YUMMY :T )

In fact normally I try to keep away from the restaurant or I'd just be tempted everyday ;)

That £3.75 was my total for the day. At home we are currently working our way through the freezer (some very strange meal combos!!!) because we're away for a few days at friends and plan to leave it empty, defrosed and unplugged whilst we're away! A few less units on the meter ;)
