Which MSE has the lowest variable mortgage rate?
I'm now on Bank of England base rate + 0.75% for the duration of the mortgage with no tie in's.
I'm now paying 1.25% interest per month. :j
I was tied to base rate plus 0.25% but that expired 3 years ago.
Can anyone beat that??

Duh..... I know many people who are on discount variable rate who are paying 0%!!!! Also, the best tracker rate I have seen is BOE+0.16%.
So I believe a lot of people somewhere in the UK could beat that.Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'

BofE +0.19% Tracker Repayment Offset Mortgage Discounted Sept 07-10 then increased to BofE +0.62% until 20270 -
Ditto. Well pleased with my HSBC Lifetime Tracker of BOE +0.48%. No tie ins, no penalties, a doddle to overpay online etc.
I remember being slightly miffed when I applied for it (May '08) as it was +0.38 on the friday I spotted it, but they put it up by 0.1% by the following monday when I went into the branch to apply.
I didn't know the base rate was going to crumble from 5% to 0.5% (!) so that 0.1% I missed out on pales into insignificance ;-)0
