To unlock my motorola v500 I had to take it to a mobile phone stockist in argyle st glasgow, it cost £10 and took about 20 secs, but worth it. I`m sure if you check your local papers you will see these guys at markets. I tried to get it unlocked on the net but IMEI number was always never in there database on these websites/
