My daughter has had a brace for at least a year and lost it out of her bag after the last apppointment.
I rang yesterday to make an appointment and was told she has to pay £56 for another one.
Surely this can't be right, does anyone know who to ask?
My economy drive was going so well!
Interestingly, I was given 2 free tickets to a show yesterday which had a value of
£56 !!!

My son has a brace and if he loses it we have to pay for another. We got told it would be 60-70 pounds. My son is 12.0

Apparently, when the new contracts/charges were introduced in April the rules for free orthodontic treatment changed dramatically. Now, free treatment is only available for strictly medical reasons not cosmetic.
When my three were young all three had orthodontic reasons to straighten their teeth and it was all free but not any more.0
