in Cutting tax
I posted 3 or 4 weeks ago because i had tax demands from 3 years where i was self employed. I originally thought it was from my self assessment but finally established after literally hours of phone calls and 11 different phone numbers that they were from the few employees i had tax and NI. I have estabished that I filled in the p35's in wrongly as i was only 21 at this time and kind of just muddled through. I am making progress apart from an amount owing from 01/02 and was wondering if they can still chase me for this after this amount of time as i have no records for this period. I have had no contact with them regarding this year until my 1st letter dated August this year.

Short Answer.
YES
There is no statute of limitations when it comes to monies owed to the crown.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.
