"&a little round belly, that shook when he laughed like a bowl full of jelly" idea?

Hello, I wondered if any of had an idea I could use please for a christmas present. My Nan has end stage Ms (parylsed, no speach, bedbound, mostly tube fed but can manage a little etc). On a good day she can still laugh though which is what i would like to do as a theme for a gift.
Although her laugh is silent her whole body wobbles and shakes and I often quote the line from twas the night before Christmas. "He had a broad face and a little round belly, That shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly" to her. I would love to find a craft/gift idea based on this. All i can think of is making a sugar free jelly (she is also diabetic) with the quote on the tag but they don't really need a jelly hanging around on xmas day! Does anyone have any other ideas please?

What a lovely post. No ideas here although for some reason I keep thinking water bombs/balloons for the sloshy effect? Well off track here, methinks. Would be nice if you could make it something you can put her fingers on so she can actually feel it.
Hope someone with ideas comes along soon. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

They often have silly laughting type santa decorations around Christmas time. How about one of those funny shaped vibrating toys... cant remember name but have soft spikes!
Jelly is a nice idea- you could buy the little pot they last for ages and maybe decorated it so the jelly part becomes its belly?0 -
what about a "making a laugh" hamper, a jar of silly rhymes, a dvd of a comedian, anything you know might give her in giggles. dvd's of her family (you've been framed type film though) you can get laughing santas (they normally move too) you could doctor one to have a jelly belly. like pp said with a water balloon - under his coat. will have a think.0

Hawkin's bazaar do a wierd sausage shaped things that slides away as you hold it. They have lots of squishy, blobby tactile things too (sorry I couldn't think of a better way of describing them!!). I'll try and find a link.

These are what i thought of too, if you are crafty you could try and sew them into a santa, if you see what i mean and use the squishy thing as the belly wo when it's touched it 'wobbles'0 -
jelly belly make no added sugar recipe jelly beans using sugar substitutes - depending on her dietary restrictions, you could do little jars of these with hanging tags
sorry - just re-read the first post properly and realised that they're not suitable at all0 -

On the subject of comedy - I saw something funny one of the catalogues this week - Kleeneeze or Betterware - cups with images of Sid James and Barbara Windsor and they have sounds so one of them is that dirty laugh, and another is Babs saying 'have you got a big one?'
I know you mentioned she is tube fed, so it wouldn't be to drink from but just to make her smile. Depends if she likes the Carry on films or not. .0
