Me and my cousing used to put it in old perfume bottles and then put it on a table by the garden gate and try to sell it to passers by. In true MSE style!!

i know this is an old thread to resurrect, but i finally got around to getting a selection of essential oils from ebay (when to various health food type shops and found the selection quite poor!) and got the beeswax and some empty lip balm pots for it. looking forward to some experimentation tomorrow (i'm clearly over excited about it and hopefully won't end up smelling awful!)

i use clary sage as it is well known for its uplifting and comforting properties, but whenever i use it , men are the ones who tend to say you smell lovely, whats your perfume called.

Some great ideas here; there's a beekeeper who sells bars of pure beeswax as well as honey and candles and stuff at the farmers market - I'll get some when we next go and have a try at Mamaoba's suggestion. I've got to visit his stall in any case for beeswax polish.:o
