My DD's never been without a handknitted cardigan. She's a long body and long arms, so that way I can get something to fit without having to buy next size up an swamp the poor little thing.

Same here, thank heavens for Grandmas' I say!! My daughter had much nicer 'woolies' than any of her friends.

This was baby No. 3. Where was the pram they used for the other two? My pram lasted for four kids - my two and my brother's two.
Baby no 3 was a surprise. They hadn't intended having anymore and got rid of their baby stuff.
The £1000+ pram got to me. Who on earth buys a white pram for the UK? If anyone wants those sort of pictures though I'll get my 6 year old to draw some pictures for you to stick to your babies buggy :D

Why didn't they do the "push it round a supermarket" test? Or do they have Waitrose deliver everything?

I did like the bit where she said "there won't be any more" - guess he's been to the vasectomy clinic then?!

I guess that they can afford for their little darlings to be so well dressed because they live in a rent-free property in the school grounds..... bet the kids will get free places at Daddy's school too. Explains why a stay at home mum can afford to dress 2 kids they way she does - no mortgage/rent to pay!

Was this programme made just to annoy those of us who are normal & wouldn't even dream of spending that sort of cash? Coz it sure worked!

Glad I missed this. Remind not to set a reminder for the next episode. I usually end up wanting to put my foot through the TV

those people needed a big huge reality check

I want that one because Angelina Jolie has the same!!!! so what? "If celebs already have it, it means it might be worth having a look at!" !!!!!!!!! So if Jessica Simpson starts wearing her panties on her head, you're going to consider doing the same thing just because she is a celeb and she does it.

I was effing quite a lot watching this. Really felt like going through the telly and slapping that woman silly!

    Oh No I Missed It!!

Does anyone know if this is repeated?
Sorry but according to the Radio Times it's not being repeated. It's not on NTLs on demand either.

Shame really - we could have all got our frustrations out by shouting at the telly again.

SO glad they didnt go for the bugaboo. What a waste of money it would have been. In actual fact me and mi OH are looking for baby stuff at the mo and there was some useful things on there. Obviously we wont buy all things 2nd hand and particlualrly liked the pushchair they opted for. Better start saving now!

Some people just have it all wrong when it comes to babies. Like most people, I would hate to see one of mine go without - I'm dreading them growing up because they start demanding things their friends have - but the kindest thing you can teach a child is 'NO'. My not-quite-5 year old is already learning the value of money. He gets £1 pocket money a week (unless he sees an Aunty and gets an extra £1!!) which he saves in a money box. When he gets a 'green card' at school (reward system thing) we let him chose something to buy with his money. Bless him if he doesn't tell his little sister 'When I save up my pocket money I'm going to buy that 'whatever it is he's just seen his friend with''.

He understands that you have to work for money and that buying something for yourself is a treat.

You can keep your designer clothes and fancy prams. My sisters old pram did fine for me and if I can't buy it in a sale...it doesn't get bought!

    Say no more eh?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
