Does anyone know what's happened to Alvin Hall (American MSE). He used to be on TV with shows like
Your Money or Your Life
But they haven't been on for ages
I'm asking because I have just finished the Money diet and am now reading Your Money or your life by Alvin. They are both very good books.

A good site (if a little morbid) to find out if famous people are still alive is:
https://www.dead-or-alive.org/
However, it doesn't say anything about Alvin Hall.

I believe that Alvin's big goggly eyes once span around so fast they turned his head inside out.0

he was very over-excitable. And his laugh drove me insane0

Alvin was a nice enough chap ... a bit over-animated but still drove home the crucial message.
I hope we will see him on TV again! May be Martin & Alvin go head to head?0 -
While Alvin and I have some philosophical difference about approaches to save money. He definitely did a great job on opening up Money on mainstream TV, proved it can be entertaining, and helped many people.. I believe he has a programme starting on Five. And no - no head to heads - not even celebrity boxing.Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Yes Alvin was great, but he was a bit too extreme for me!!
Shall probably watch his programme, but take some of the 'extremeness' with a pinch of salt. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I do recall you both being on the same TV programme at one time though. They seemed to be testing whether you were really money-saving experts!0
