in Cutting tax
I am a foregner and do not British tax system well so appologies if my question sounds silly.
I am a full-time employee but I also going to invest into risky actives on stock market. If I will have profit I understand I have to pay income tax on this income but would it be the same way when I get loss?
E.g. how can I pay income tax on (<my salary>-<loss on stock market>) rather than just on just <my salary>?

Trading in stocks and shares does not attract income tax, but Capital Gains Tax is payable on any profits made. Any losses are carried forward to set against future gains.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
