Hi angelax,
I make sugared nuts by putting one part water to two parts sugar into a saucepan. Add the nuts and and heat gently, stirring continuously, until the sugar begins to crystalise. Spread the sugar coated nuts on a greased baking tray, sprinkle with a little salt and bake in a hot oven for about 10 minutes or until they begin to brown.

I don't know how much you are going to make but how about this:
2 Cups of unsalted nuts
2-3Tbsp butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 teaspoon cinn. (you can leave this out if you like)
Ziplock bag
Melt the butter and then add the nuts..roating for a few mins. set aside and leave til they have cooled down a bit but still warm. As the nuts are cooling..in the ziplock bag add the sugar and cinnamon and then shake well. Empty nuts onto a baking and let sit til fully cooled and store in a air tight container*If you like the advice I give...let me know by clicking the THANKS button*

the nuts are made just as pink-winged has said add whatever flavourings you want and stir in when the nuts have taken on that grainy texture, just keep stiring inthe pan no real need to bake in the oven.
use abig pan such as a wok.0
