Indulgent Bubble Bath

My mum recently broke her wrist and was telling me how awkward it is to wash and that she has trouble just having a simple bath. I thought it would be nice if I bought her some nice bubble bath for when she was able to bath properly. She told me yesterday that her cast has now been taken off. Please could people suggest some really nice bubble bath that you use when you want to really pamper yourself and have a nice soak in the bath. I don't mind paying that little bit extra as I want to spoil my mum.

Any suggestions gratefully received :-)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I prefer bath oils, they scent is always deeper, lingering on th skin longer, and they feel moisturising too. However, they make cleanign the bath harder!

I adore the Lush Comforter Bubble Bar.

All of the bubble bars are fab but I prefer the comforter.
I can usually get about 6 baths out of 1 bar, but it depends how bubbly you like it!
Leaves your skin soft and smooth and your whole body feeling relaxed and refreshed!

The new Lush Xmas bubble bar Christmas Eve is gorgeous, as is Bathos, which smells of violets.

If you want a tradtional liquid bubble bath, No 7 sumptuous bath soak is a nice luxurious bubble bath.

Origins Ginger bath float is gorgeous, but not cheap.

I'd be inclined to stay away from bath oils at the moments - you don't want her slipping in the bath and breaking something else!

Thanks for all the suggestions, please keep them coming.

Has anyone tried the Sanctuary bubble baths. I've noticed they have bath creme which sounds luxurious and on 3 for 2 could get a variety. I've never tried these myself so don't know if they're as good as they sound and also there are no reviews for me to consider.

Judgejaq, I see what you mean about the Origins one, do people really spend £20.00 on a bubble bath?!?!

Sanctuary stuff is gorgeous, Champneys products are even better imo, you can get them in Sainsburys, they are often on offer, try this
http://www.champneys.co.uk/Collection/Bath_and_Body for an idea of thier products, a more funky type of luxury is Soap n Glory products from Boots, they are made by the makers of Bliss products and really worth checking out, also often on offer - Hope your mums ok:)
Thank you for this site Martin

    Good luck for the future
  • If money were no problem I'd go for Elemis Nourishing Milk Bath - divine. I'm sure I've seen a home made recipe somewhere using milk powder.....

Edit - I've just googled recipe for milk bath and some suggestions come up.

You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

    *I have done reading too*
*I have done geography as well*
  • I really like the Soap and Glory bath products- I think the bubble bath is about a fiver but it does leave your skin really soft.

I also love the Lush bath bombs- a selection of those makes aa really lovely gift without breaking the bank.

I personally steer clear of oils as I do find they make the bath really slippery.
