LX Direct sent me a brochure with a voucher code saying that if I spend £10 or more I get £10 off with free postage. It even had a nicely design voucher!
So I went online & tried the voucher code. I wanted to buy something for £14.99. I entered the code and it said '£10 off with free postage'. However when it came to confirm the payment I was still being charged £14.99. I was a bit concerned so I did not confirm the payment. Instead I sent the order form by post. On the order form it said free postage and a big '-£10.00' in red colour. It even has my name written on it by LX Direct. I sent them a cheque of £4.99 which has been cashed by Lx direct but the order was taking ages to be delivered. So email LX Direct & I was told that the order has not been authorised. I angrily emailed back & told them not to mess with me and to either to process the delivery or to refund my money back. I got confirmation today that the money will be refunded.
Has anybody had this situation before?
