Sorry, I didn't know there were no Welsh people on here or I wouldn't have posted it

Although after some research, you may well be right about better computers being available!

Perhaps then you'd like to provide a link where you can buy a better PC for the same or equivalent specs for less than £700 ?

And with a 3 years guarantee...

There are always replies like this where pc components are concerned. I do feel sorry for the original posters, it's not like they're looking for a conflict. It happens every time without fail.

The spec of this pc is way more than most people need and not that good a buy, and £199 for a 19" TFT is now expensive. Try a look at ebuyer, dell, watford electronics, dabs, etc etc Try any of these and I am sure you will get a very good PC for £700. The other down side is that it comes with very little software. No microsoft office, not even works!

Errrr how many computers do you see advertised nowadays with MS Office bundled for free? I would genuinely be interested if you could show me somewhere that does. As for MS Works that software is useless to anyone considering you can download OpenOffice, which is superior and has better compatability with MS Office, for free.

You are quite correct that it isn't a good buy though the places you recommend are certainly cheaper. I would warn people to stay clear of ebuyer as they have appalling customer service when something goes wrong; not my experience but that of many many others.

Still like the poster said, he wasn't sure in the beginning so thanks anyway.

"certainly cheaper?" Really? Prove it then. I'm aware of Dell, Dabs etc etc - Yet nobody who is saying what poor value this PC is - can provide a link to a PC at one of those sites with even equivalent specs for the same price - let alone cheaper.
