Need non 09xxx number to call MyPixmania

Hi,

I need to call Pixmania fairly urgently regarding an order. But it was ordered from www.mypixmania.co.uk so I can't use the 08700 number on the normal Pixmania site, I have to use the 09 number.

I've tried calling from my work number but as this is premium rate it is barred. I've also tried calling from my mobile but also barred. I've scoured the internet as I desperately need to contact them today and can't wait until I get home.

Please does anyone know of a non 09 number to contact Pixmania on? Don't mind whether it's geographical, or even a dreaded 0870, so long as I can call them!

Thanks.

I'm having the same problem trying to get through to a local radio station to win £11,000! my mobile and my house phone won't let me.I know the house phone won't as I ended up with an £80 bill from an internet number when I was on dial up,so I stopped them, but I don't understand why you can't do it from your mobile?

Hmm not very impressed with Pixmania so far! It's bad enough that they only have an 09 number to contact them on, but this afternoon I tried emailing them. Although this is urgent it's looking like email is the only way to actually contact them.

I spent a while composing a message to them and sent it to the email address it gives on my order confirmation for Customer Services.

A while later I checked back to see an autoresponse saying I needed to use their web form - so why didn't their email say this in the first place?? icon9.gif

Anyway clicked the link but it didn't work. So went to their site and clicked on Help but you have to choose options from the drop down list - none of which vaguely match my request. So in the end I chose 'cancellation' thinking that may get their attention. But what a poor system from start to finish.

So am sat waiting and hoping for a reply...icon5.gif

Pixmania are a poor excuse for a company. They advertise all their chep prices, but their customer service is shocking.
I know what you mean about their contact form, I just resorted to chosing any option as they seem to answer it, although not very well!!

My advice (after it taking 5 months, and 2 returns to get my money back), is to stay away from any non UK based company, especially Pixmania.

Sorry, can't help with a number though, they just don't seem to have a non premium one.

phill79 - yes I am learning the hard way so it seems icon9.gif

Well I did get an email reply from them yesterday, but it completely did NOT answer my question icon8.gif At the end of the email they asked me to reply to them and confirm whether I wished to go ahead with the order.

I replied to say yes. But then I got a reply back in French?!! Not much use to an English speaking customer. So I then sent them the same message via their online help - again just picked a random category as none vaguely fitted.

So I guess I just have to wait and see what happens. I've ordered photos quite a lot of times before, but this is the first time I've needed help from their Customer Services - and I think they are terrible!
