My (cheap) slow cooker is plugged in to a (cheap) plug timer, so I can set it to come on when I want it to - works well for me and total cost was under £15 for both!
  • Haven't tried this but it is on offer on the Morphy Richards website till 2nd Nov for £32.32 with free delivery.

I bought a tricity digital timed slow cooker from Tesco for about £34 last month (was reduced to £23 last week)and to be quite honest the digital timer is not really of any consequence, not sure if it is the same facilities but I feel that I have wasted the £20 compared to the normal manual one. This one goes onto keep food warm after the cooking time is up - you could leave it on low and it would do the same thing! hope that is of some help to you. Tesco have their own manual one (3.5L)on at £10 just now I can recommend that one
