Don't. Use it to pay off your debt.

I have had it for 12 months and not had to spend a penny on it. it went through its MOT last month and passed no problem!

Even so, brakes and tyres are wearing out all the time and an old car can turn expensive quite suddenly.

    I would be budgetting £50 a month.

It would appear that either you aren't in any money difficiluties or there are large chunks of expenditure currently missing from your SoA.

I have moved this thread to the debt free diaries as I think it would be more relevant in there as it is more of a ramble than anything else!
Thanks for all advise and questioning in the style of a policeman!! ;)
    only kidding!

I will not be updating on this board only on the debt free diaries
    Thanks

    Hi
What exactly do you mean about 'squandering all your money'?

What do you do with the £400+ that you have left over each month?
    Do you have savings?

Your credit card debt is small so, unless the interest rate really is 0%, why not pay it all off?

    No water rates?

    I'll say/ask this again.

The 'other income' presumably. Are you declaring this to the taxman?
    Interesting question, LandyAndy.

It's a good question but we won't get it answered here:o.

I pretty much abandoned posting here some time ago because of the prevalance of 'diary' type threads so I made a decision not to go there when they were split off.

I understand why it was done but it's not for me and so any expertise I may have (£75k debt paid off in 5 years) is lost to that forum.

I also understand that my style of actually questioning posters isn't always seen as welcome here.

    Best wishes to salduck.
