Slow cooker - help needed please

good afternoon everyone

im looking for a bit of help.

i have a swan P62 slow cooker and im doing a stew. the thing is i have lost my instruction manual and i cant find one online anywhere.

the question i have is this....... which is high and with is auto? the slow cooker has a light switch type switch (just turned on its side) and its not clear which way you have to have it depressed to be on which setting (if you get what i mean)

    as I understand it you dont know which switch setting is Auto or high?

    sorry, didnt have any luck with that, and I've searched for a manual with no luck. Hope someone with that model is around to help you soon. :)

    I think most slow cooker switches which have a dial have the low to the left, high in the middle and auto to the right.

    I would think your switch is probably the same ie press it in on the left side for low, to the right for auto and does it have a half way click so that it is neither pressed in to the left or right, if you know what I mean?

    Most things start to boil when on high so why not boil the kettle and pour some water into the crock and experiment with the switch, I would think the water will start to bubble if it is on high.

    I have a swan slow cooker with a switch the same as you describe.
    From left to right the settings are High - Low - Auto.

    I'd say experiment like the other poster said.
    I know that when I have mine on high, the food starts to bubble and boil, whereas on LOW it hardly 'lifts an eyebrow'.
